Choose what you make public.
Religion.fun stores the information needed to publish texts, discuss ideas, and review declaration signatures. Public contributions should contain only information you are comfortable sharing.
Public contributions
Published texts, sources, version histories, proposals, responses, discussion, and steward decisions are public and linked to an account identifier. A wallet account displays a public wallet address. Passkey accounts use an assigned identifier. Publishing can create copies we do not control.
Passkeys and sessions
We store a passkey’s public credential, counter, and account identifier. Your device or password manager keeps the private key; device biometrics are not sent to this service. A sign-in token is stored in your browser until you sign out or it expires. Keep a synced passkey or add a backup key. We cannot recover an account after all sign-in methods are lost.
Drafts
Drafts save to this browser and are accessible to anyone using its browser profile. Save privately to account is an explicit action that sends a copy to our database. Account drafts are accessible through authenticated requests; service administrators still operate the database. Drafts are not end-to-end encrypted. Export a copy before clearing browser data.
Common Dignity signatures
A submission includes your legal name, email, tradition, country, and selected principles, plus organization details when relevant. Legal name and email are for steward review and are excluded from public signature responses. Publishing a chosen display name is off by default. After verification, tradition, country, principles, and organization details can be public even if the signer’s name is private. No submission is counted as verified merely because it was submitted.
Storage and service operations
The service uses Vercel hosting, a MongoDB database, and S3 image storage. Public images and external links may involve other hosts. Service logs may include IP address, browser information, request paths, and operational errors. Rate-limit records use keyed hashes and expire. Content is not currently anchored on a blockchain or decentralized storage.
Control and review
You can withdraw your responses, export a published version or discussion, and delete local or account drafts. Published revisions and public discussion history are retained to preserve context; this is not a promise of irreversible storage. Use Report / appeal on the affected text or contribution for privacy, rights, or removal review. Do not include sensitive personal details in a public Commons proposal.
